When a truly regenerative ecosystem is in place and functioning well, the need for external inputs becomes less and less!
This course will show you that it is possible to improve your agricultural ecosystem in which:
- Soil health is quickly regenerated
- Crop yields and quality steadily improve
- Pest pressure is mitigated
- Crops become more resilient to climate extremes and require significantly less water to thrive
Join us as Advancing Eco Agriculture Founder John Kempf describes the principles and the science of regenerative management systems that produce high-level performance in orchards. The principles presented in this course will be transferable to all crop types.
This course will focus on:
- Understanding plant nutritional requirements at specific growth stages to increase marketable yields
- Increasing photosynthetic efficiency
- Reducing crop water requirements by 20-40%
- Learning how insects and diseases are attracted to crops with specific nutritional profiles, and preventing them
- Managing fertilizer applications to increase soil and plant health
