At this wine grape field day, AEA Senior Agronomist and resident grape expert Pedro Rioseco will tackle the issues that are top of mind for growers across the region, understanding the role of nutrition in natural pest and disease resistance.
We’ll also discuss strategies to help vines maintain photosynthesis and aid in more consistent fruit ripening.
We will speak to the multiple strategies we have to address diseases like powdery and downy mildew with nutrition and use of holistic products that do not disrupt the natural soil beneficial fungi populations.
